Griffin Bunnell – Attorney
“I knew going into college that I wanted to be an attorney, and specifically an attorney who represents victims of corporate and individual wrongdoing,” said Griffin. “My desire to serve others stems from my family, which emphasized the need to help others in work and in the community.” Griffin’s grandfather, mother, and father are all primary care physicians, devoted to helping others. And on the legal side, he has two uncles and an aunt who are attorneys, representing individuals and their families in a variety of legal fields.
Griffin believes that he is in the perfect profession to help others, and is proud to be a member of the elite legal team assembled at Williams Kherkher. He enjoys the opportunity to work with clients, their loved ones, opposing counsel, and witnesses on a daily basis. He feels that developing friendships with this wide variety of people is one of the best parts of his job. “Every lawyer, client, witness, judge, and jury member, all have different personalities. As an attorney, part of my job is working with these different personalities to ensure a productive relationship and a beneficial result for our clients.”
Growing up in Port Lavaca, he remembers a close sense of community, which he also feels at Williams Kherkher, where “all the attorneys and staff members here share my desire to devote their lives to assist those in need.” Griffin graduated college from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. While there he played on the tennis team and was a member of the Southwestern Jazz Ensemble. After graduating from Southwestern University, Griffin attended South Texas College of Law, where he graduated with a JD.
Outside of work, Griffin is involved in the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Coastal Conservation Association (CCA). With a close family, Griffin enjoys spending time with his three younger brothers. He is also an avid fisherman and a devout fan of the Astros, Rockets, Texans, and the Calhoun High School Fighting Sandcrabs!
